Campus
The Campus Program at InterGlobe is called InterGlobe Program for Accelerated Development (IPAD). This program forms a vital component of the overall Leadership Development agenda at InterGlobe.
InterGlobe’s IPAD (InterGlobe Program for Accelerated Development) strategic intent is to create a talent pool for achieving superior business results and organisational growth. InterGlobe’s selection process, held at reputed campuses in the country, has four stages – the pre-placement talk, the academic criteria, a group discussion, psychometric assessment and a personal interview.
Each of these stages assess different aspects in the students – from reasoning and leadership abilities to analytical and estimation skills.
Stage One - Pre-Placement Talk
The process begins with a pre-placement talk at selected campuses in line with the campus placement schedule. This talk aims to provide students with a perspective on InterGlobe businesses and the IPAD Program.
Eligibility Criteria: Interested students, who meet the minimum benchmark of 60% score in each of their 10th, 12th and Graduation exams are eligible to apply.
Stage Two - Group Discussion
The eligible students undergo a Group Discussion exercise that aims at assessing skills such as reasoning, leadership ability, creativity, out of the box thinking, listening & articulation skills and situational handling ability.
Stage Three - Psychometric Assessment
Candidates shortlisted from the Group Discussion stage are administered a psychometric tool that assesses them on some pre-defined parameters that are considered critical to succeed at InterGlobe.
- Analytical and estimation Skills
- Coping with stress
- Innovation and problem solving
- Energy
- Social intelligence
- Sense of Responsibility
Stage Four - Personal Interview
This is the final stage of selection wherein shortlisted candidates undergo a series of personal interviews with the HR Head, Functional Head and the Business Head. The result of the psychometric assessment in stage three is used as a supplementary tool during the interview rounds.
Management Trainees selected as part of IPAD undergo a one year rigorous training period that includes cross functional and functional projects as well as on the job training. These trainings provide Management Trainees an opportunity to not only learn functional skills but also mesh with the culture and people of the organization. The IPAD journey is interspersed with periodic reviews, leadership interaction sessions and training programs.
The program aims to nurture these fresh aspirants to become thoroughbred professionals and take up responsible positions in the organization at a relatively faster pace.
