Palais Rudolf

Palais Rudolf is a stylish and peaceful place in the lively Old Town. It is located on the historic Rudolfsplatz square, near the Danube River, and looks out over the green Rudolfspark. Our boutique hotel is part of Vienna’s famous 1st District, Innere Stadt, and is close to many of the city’s top attractions, such as grand palaces, art museums, and luxury shops.
The hotel is named after Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria-Hungary and is set in a beautiful fin de siècle building. This building reflects the rich history and classic charm of the Innere Stadt neighbourhood. Palais Rudolf brings new life to the traditional Altbau, offering a timeless and welcoming retreat where both travellers and locals can come together.

Inspired by the golden age of Viennese townhouses, the hotel offers 64 guest rooms and suites that combine classic elegance with a modern, clean style. Each room is designed with soft, warm colours and vintage-style furniture, creating a calm and welcoming feel that reflects Vienna’s rich antique heritage.
The Baroness Bar is located at the centre of Palais Rudolf and adds a touch of Italian style to Vienna’s Old Town. Its warm and elegant character is inspired by the story of a young Austrian aristocrat who shared a romance with Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria‑Hungary.
